WHAT WE DO

We are small brewpub located in downtown Escondido. Because we are located downtown, we are involved in many events related to downtown (i.e. street fairs, farmers market, Cruisin’ Grand - classic cars, etc.), but more notably we are in a position to impact our community through making Escondido a better place to live, work, and play. We have and will continue to sponsor local charities and various local organizations.

WHY WE CHOSE THE 78 CORRIDOR

Being located near 78 corridor is great because we are near lots of fun stuff related to beer! Stone Brewing Co., of course, nearly created and shaped San Diego craft beer culture along with a few others, like Pizza Port, Karl Strauss, Mission, and a few others. They have made it possible for us to exist. We are proud to be part of a craft beer culture that not only creates some of the best beers in the world, but are some of the most generous and benevolent small business around, i.e. non-profits, charity events, etc.

WE LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS

Craft breweries continue to develop and redefine great beer through innovation, technique, passion, and sometimes even mistakes. You might not know it, but some of best examples of San Diego style beers were mistakes or experiments. Tasty ones, albeit.

FIVE YEARS FROM NOW...

We anticipate future growth to expand beyond our single location, especially when it comes to our small brewery. (We have a hard time keeping our beer on tap at our own place!) I anticipate the 78 corridor (i.e. Hops Highway) to become a destination for both locals and tourists. In the same way, you might travel to wine country (e.g. Napa Valley, Sonoma, etc.) you would like see local signage pointing towards those destinations. We would love to see something like this to develop for craft breweries along the 78 corridor.
