WHAT WE DO

SunPower by Stellar Solar has been installing high performance solar since 1998. We have always designed and installed best in class, highly efficient and versatile solar photovoltaic (PV) systems using equipment from the world’s leading solar manufacturers. We deliver customized solutions for all customer types to meet their energy needs with unparalleled customer service.

Our success as a local San Diego solar installer was recently recognized by leading international solar panel manufacturer SunPower, and since we have partnered with them to become SunPower by Stellar Solar, one of two SunPower Master Dealers in San Diego. The Master Dealer program is reserved for SunPowers top installers only, so to become one this year has been an honor.  SunPower panel efficiency is unparalleled, so to match their quality panels with our superior local service is bringing the two most crucial elements of a solar installation together and will highly benefit the customer.

High profile customers like the Salk Institute, Loyola University, City of Anaheim, U.S. Foodservice, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Cedars-Sinai Hospital, Scripps Ranch High School and Los Angeles Unified School District have trusted Stellar Solar with their solar projects ranging in size from 7kW to more than 1MW. We are available for projects throughout North America and the world.

We are located at 265 Via Del Monte in Oceanside, just off Mission Road.  Given our presence along the 78 Corridor, a huge portion of our customers are North County residents and we prefer it that way.  We live and work in North County, and that’s why we love it.

WHY WE CHOSE THE 78 CORRIDOR

The cities along the 78 Corridor house a wide variety of residential neighborhoods and homes, from immaculate eight-bedroom mansions to small apartments and duplexes.  Luckily for us, we can install solar on any home with any style of roof, so we thrive in this market that demands adaptability to different conditions. The fact that there is a demand for solar from homeowners of all types allows us to flourish as we can take the jobs other companies won’t.

Seeing as how a lot of our business is in North County, along with our main operations center in Oceanside, the 78 provides the ultimate delivery route for all of our trucks.  Almost any job in North County can be reached quickly and efficiently via the 78, which helps with our operations immensely.

TALENT POOL

San Diego is one of the solar capitals of the world.  It has the second highest amount of solar installations in the U.S.  That’s why we have some of the most talented individuals in the entire solar industry working for us, as our city is a hub for the industry.  As a result, North County provides such an excellent pool of talent to choose from, and has allowed us to cultivate a team that is made up of the best of the best in all of their respective fields.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Residents of North County are aware of how lucky they are to live where they do. Our area boasts some of the most beautiful natural surroundings in the world, which keeps us aware how we affect our environment, as we all want to preserve its pristine state. That’s why our employees all believe in the work we are doing as a company. Solar power is helping to reduce the world’s energy consumption, which keeps us from having to rely on burning fossil fuels. So, in this way, our employees know that by doing what they do, they are working to help preserve the natural environment, which keeps them motivated and inspired. In this way, by living in such a beautiful place, everyone in our company is inspired to do the best job they can.

FIVE YEARS FROM NOW...

The future is bright for solar here in San Diego County.  With the recent extension of Net Metering, the law that allows homeowners to sell the excess power they produce via their solar system back to the power companies,  as well as the 30 percent federal tax credit, financially there has never been a better time to go solar.  As long as these programs continue, solar will continue to thrive here along the 78, and we will continue to serve as the number one installer in the area.
