Announcing #WithLoveNorthCounty – a campaign in partnership with San Diego North Economic Development Council, Chambers of Commerce, and MainStreet Associations to synergize with the efforts of the San Diego Tourism Authority and support North County hospitality businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19.
The campaign encourages locals to utilize staycations and enjoy the beautiful place we call home. Through it, we seek to promote hotels and other tourism-related businesses in hopes of encouraging locals to patronize fun places down the street from them.
ach week we will promote a different property or activity on social media, encouraging folks to have a mini getaway and enjoy local amenities. We live in such a beautiful place, let’s enjoy some staycations in our own backyard! The full list of featured properties are hosted on the North EDC website.
The campaign is already gaining traction, as KUSI has interviewed San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones twice to hear her insights on it! You can watch those interviews here and here.
