For the third year, Vista’s Cue Health has been named the NBA’s official COVID-19 test supplier for the 2021-22 season. The news comes weeks after Cue Health went public with a $200 million IPO to expand on its portable diagnostics capabilities.

gigaio raises $14.7m in series b funding

Carlsbad-based GigaIO has raised $14.7 million in a Series B round. The investment will support the expansion of the startup’s AI technology, which allows researchers and data scientists to connect from all over the world and shorten their time to result by gaining access to more resources faster.

Hosted on Friday, October 29 at the brand new Alexandria Tech Center in Sorrento Valley, Startup San Diego is bringing together an intimate group of the region’s founders, investors and community champions for a night of networking, entertainment and recognition. Use code ‘I7830’ for 30 percent off.

Career Exploration Day and Career Fair

November 18

Advancing San Diego is looking for companies hiring for entry level jobs to host a virtual booth at its Career Exploration Day on November 18. The platform allows companies to showcase company culture, post open roles, communicate with students via chat box, review resumes, and conduct right-on-the-spot interviews via Zoom. Small companies (<100 employees and recruiting at least two entry-level positions) can host a booth at no cost.
