Oceanside hosts Japanese delegation, drives foreign connectivity

The City of Oceanside has increased their connectivity with their sister city, Fuji, Japan. In August, the city hosted a delegation of more than a dozen officials, business executives and community stakeholders, who celebrated the 25th anniversary of the sister city cooperative. The delegation toured businesses, met with Oceanside leaders and drove discussions on how to increase economic ties. One company, a green tea manufacturer, is interested in developing their U.S. presence in the city. In addition, the Mayor of Fuji expressed his commitment to deepen the relationship and connectivity of Oceanside and Fuji businesses.
